Like father like son

 

There are many things that my son will have to overcome in his life. He will have to find his place in a world where that is not as simple as it used to be. As an African-American male he will have to deal with the racism that is inherent in our society. He will have to come to terms with the loss and grief connected to his adoption. He may also have to deal with medical or psychological issues associated with his early life. Finally, he will have to live with the fact that his family is unlike most others because he has two Dads.
