Welcome!  This blog is intended for those interested in parenting, adoption, foster care and same-sex parenting issues.  We expect that on occasion our posts will elicit differing points of view.  We don’t interfere with those comments because blogging for us is an open forum.  We love a good debate–even watching from the sidelines as commenters engage one another is fun. 

We do however, expect a certain level of civility and decorum.  We will edit or delete comments that in our judgement are inappropriate.  To give you some idea, we have edited comments that used expletives, name calling and crass references.  Though it has only happened twice, we will block commenters who engage in this behavior repeatedly.  Respect is the key–whether you are responding to the post itself or to another comment–in the end you are addressing another human being.  Thank you for reading, engaging and commenting!
