Good job!
Are you feeling the difference in your body yet? I mean, you’ve lost about 12 pounds so far, right?
When you are exercising, think of me doing it and hating it with you. I’ll be your cyber workout brother. Your skinnier brother(wink)! I’ve only lost four pounds in one month. Not thrilled about that but at least I’m not gaining either.
By the way, which car did you choose? Unless it’s a minivan, they all look alike to me.

Hey Mark. I have definitely noticed the difference. I grimace less when I see my reflection in the mirror. I can tighten my belt one more notch. Pants are definitely more loose. I don’t feel quite so stuffed in my dress shirts and I’m not wrestling with that top button before tying my tie.
Four pounds a month is great! That’s a pound per week and really, that is what I’m trying to do in this initial period. I’m not trying to be one of those that says “I lost 40 lbs in one month!”. I think that kind of weight loss is scary and seems unhealthy. And you can be my virtual running partner as I’m huffing and puffing through the neighborhood. I’ll be the faster one.
I crave the Hyundai Veloster – the maroon car. I love that car. We saw it at the DC auto show last year before it was released for production. There’ll be no new car in my future though, unless some rich benefactor (if you are reading this, email me!) decides to hook me up.

When I was in HS I went to a car show with my friend. It was one of the more boring experiences of my life, but I still cherish the memory of that goofy time with my friend daydreaming about cars. And good job on the weight loss!

car show – boring experience? say it ain’t so!
Actually, I imagine could be pretty dull for a lot of people. Luckily, this house full of boys all love cars. One day, I’d love for us to go to the Detroit one. Maybe when the kid(s) is(are) older.
