not sad to see you go

the sweet

did not outweigh the bitter

at times, i maintained

distracted at other

often just tired

but brighter days

bring determination and purpose

curiosity and exploration

and a reminder to eat well

be stylin’

play hard

and hold love close

i look forward to fondly remembering roses

but most of all, I just look forward
