		<description>Thank you for posting this.  I recently had someone close to me tell me that I wouldn&#039; t love a foster child like I would love my own.  I think it depends on the person and how big their heart is.  All children deserve to be loved and loved deeply.  Even if they are in your life for only a short time.</description>

I think an unacknowledged reality of foster-parenting is that of you do it right, there is the very real possibility that you will end up hurting. It is part of putting a child&#039;s needs first. It is being a parent, in the best sense.</description>
